How do I hide certain things on my menu, but make them still accesable?

I know this is a weird questions, but I was wondering how I can have it so the main page you click on doesn’t show the drop down sub menu information?

Please take a look at my website to see what I mean: http://theweddingpainters.com/

As you can see the page “Painters” shows up at the top, just as I want it. But the artist’s name (Jennifer Backman, my name) comes up underneath. I dont want it to show up there, but I want people to be able to click on my name on the “Painters” page and have a new page open. So the page still needs to be accessible, so I cant set it to private, but I dont want the drop down of the sub menu items.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi there,

You can control what links appear in your menu by creating a custom menu. You can remove links to pages that you don’t want in your menu (while keeping that page accessible to visitors) and add other custom links to the menu if you’d like.

We have a guide to creating custom menus here: Custom Menus

If you have any questions about this, please let me know!
