How do I insert media in the new format?

WordPress seems to have changed its format for writing a new blog and I no longer have a button that says insert media. I am allowed to create gallery which I don’t want to do, but can’t find anywhere to insert images.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry that you are having trouble with the recent editor changes. We’re working on improving the experience and at the top of that list is the “add media” functionality.
In the meantime, you can always log into your WordPress.com site’s Dashboard and click on Posts–> Add New to make posts.
