How do I keep blogs I follow lists on two sites separate when using the Widget?
-
Hello! I run two blogs on your site on different topics. When I follow other people’s blogs the Blogs I follow Widget on my site mixes them up. So I end up with blogs on the two topic areas intermixed. Can you help please?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I understand what you are trying to do, However, there isn’t really a way to do that without having two separate WordPress.com accounts.

OK – I see, I ought to have thought of that option before starting the second blog. I did not occur to me. Thanks for getting back to me and making it clear.

You can start a second account now and then use these instructions to transfer the second blog ownership to the second account:

Take a look through that page and let me know if you have any further questions. I’ll be happy to help.

rootjosh, I ran into a problem with this. I created a new outlook address (successfully) I created a new WordPress Account with this new email address I then logged into my old WordPress account and clicked on Transfer this blog, got the big red warning notice, filled in the name of the new account I want to transfer the blog to and got an error message “You cannot transfer to that user” Any ideas welcomed!

Have you gotten your new account completely set up? Gotten past the verification and all that?
-
Yes, root josh I too managed to work that out and have put it right. All now well and the blog transferred. Looking forward to getting it the way I want it. Thanks for your patience and help. All very impressive from WordPress Support and yourself. :-)
