How do I know when someone has subscribed?

    I have friends who have subscribed to my blog using a simple subscribe form widget but I’m not being notified. What am I missing?

    Hi there, looking at your site I see it is using the open source WordPress software rather than being hosted here on WordPressdotcom (the hosted platform). I’m not familiar with the form you used in your site’s sidebar, but if it is a plugin of some sort, you’ll want to contact the plugin author or post in their forum on WordPress.org

    Just to clarify, these support forums assist users of the WordPressdotcom platform. WordPressdotcom (where we are ) and WordPress are separate entities with different documentation and support forums.
