How do I make my custom domain to work?

    In trying to set up a custom domain (lifesdesigns.org), I doesn’t work. It appears to be asking for information about a domain I already own wanting me to do something with my nameservers. I don’t own another domain. I paid for the upgrade but haven’t been able to make it work. My alifesdesigns.wordpress.com domain is not working either. I really did want WordPress to work and have paid you a bunch of money, but I am frustrated after having spent all afternoon and evening on this. Can you help?

    Hi there, it looks like you purchased domain mapping, but didn’t actually register the domain, which is still available.

    In order for a domain to be mapped, you need to actually own the domain, whether you register it through WordPress.com or another registrar. The mapping upgrade points the domain to your WordPress.com site, but it doesn’t actually register the domain itself.

    I’ve removed the domain mapping upgrade so you can try again. There won’t be any charge, since you already purchased WordPress.com Premium, which includes a domain.
