how do i make my old www. website to a smart,adaptable WordPress theme ?
-
I am new to the concept of WordPress and have just created a WordPress profile.
I have a website (with Fasthosts) that I recently transferred to WordPress (not sure if Transferred is the right word!), and it still works as before but as it’s old it isn’t smart with rolling scripts etc and is hard to navigate with a smartphone/tablet/small screen :- http://www.themindbodyandsoulcoach.co.ukMy daughter advised me to get an up-to-date, smart WordPress theme suitable to my self-employed fitness/therapy business, and showed me several that we like.
Please would you tell me if I need to create a brand new WordPress theme from scratch using your themes and transferring some of my website’s content;
and what will happen to http://www.themindbodyandsoulcoach.co.uk and it’s email contact addresses and Paypal facilities ?
How can I keep my website address yet have a fantastic-looking, adaptable internet site?As I’m not familiar with some techno terms I would be grateful for your help.
Thank you.
Kathy

WordPress.ORG themes are found here > http://wordpress.org/themes/
That is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. You are posting to the wrong support forum. Note that we do not provide support here at WordPress.COM for any installs of WordPress.ORG software. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs being hosted right here on this multiuser blogging platform.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate, have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
