How do I move my WordPress site to your recommended BlueHost provider?
-
I’m switching to blue host so I can add wordpress plugins and don’t know how to finish the transfer. They say change wordpress DNS but then wordpress says I’m not writing the infor in correctly and I don’t know where the info came from in your sample to get the right info for it too work so it stops saying the code isn’t matching.
I just want wordpress plugins on my bluehost account.
ns1.bluehost.com 74.220.195.31
ns2.bluehost.com 69.89.16.4and i want the wordpress on the host to go to http://www.sweetpetesbikebuzz.com not some http://68473859739.~sweetpet, via some mobi crap.
The domain has been transfer now I just need the site to move over….that may mean exports imports, I don’t know how to tell what to do next and neither product is clear.
Please assist, working with WordPress products have been very difficult.

Hi there, let me try to help.
To update your name servers to point them to Bluehost, log into your domain manager to make the updates. We have a full guide here: change name servers
and i want the wordpress on the host to go to http://www.sweetpetesbikebuzz.com not some http://68473859739.~sweetpet, via some mobi crap.
Once your domain is pointing to Bluehost you’ll be able to update the address in your self-hosted WordPress settings if necessary.

To export your content from WordPress.com, head under Tools > Export, and follow our guide. To import your content on the self-hosted site, head to Tools > Import, select WordPress, and follow the prompts.
