How do I permanently get rid of an expired domain name I no longer want or need?

    I don’t want the domain I previously used which has already expired. I no longer need or want the domain, and I’d like to put it back on the market to for anyone to register. Also this pop up keeps appearing when I view my website and when others view my website, notifying me of my domain name’s expiration. Is there any way you guys can stop this pop-up from appearing on my blog, and also release the domain name back on the market? Thanks.

    Sure thing! I just removed that expired domain from your account, so you’re all set with that. You and your visitors can view your website using your free WordPress.com address instead: http://thelifeandtimesofsam.wordpress.com/
