How do I purchase a domain that I have previously mapped and it expired through
-
I mapped a custom domain name, but now the domain registration has expired with my old hosting company. I would like to purchase my domain name through your site now, but since I’ve already mapped the expired domain, it will not let me. Do I need to remove the domain mapping in order to purchase the domain name?

Thanks for that! I see what you mean now. I’ve gone ahead and refunded your Domain Mapping upgrade for glasspennydesigns.com. You can now go ahead and register this domain through your dashboard at Store > My Domains.
Let me know if I can help with anything else! :)

thanks for that. I just went in and tried to register the domain, but it won’t let me because it says this domain is already mapped to a wordpress site.
Also I don’t know if this will affect it, but I just talked to my old domain hosting site and they said since my domain hosting with them expired over 30 days ago, now it will go in to a 90 day hold where I can’t renew it with them unless I pay a $70 fee. After the 90 days it will be released and I can purchase it through another site. But they also said during this time anyone else can buy it. Does that mean I can buy it through your site? -
Sorry about that. It should be all set now.
You won’t be able to register the domain through us until the 90 day hold has passed. During those 90 days the domain can be sold on backorder or through auction before it is released to the public again.
You should contact your registrar about reclaiming this domain if you plan to keep using it. You can of course just wait out the 90 days, but there is no guarantee that you’ll be able to register the domain at the end of that time.
Let me know if I can help further!
