  I want to be sure no one can spam me but when I paid for this account I didn’t see where to purchase that option.

  If you run a website, spam comments are part of web life. Thankfully, on WordPress.com, we have Akismet spam protection built in. See here to learn more about spam comments http://en.support.wordpress.com/unwanted-comments/

  I’m not sure what you mean when you say “paid for this account” because WordPress.com accounts are free and I do not see that you have a custom domain upgrade. Could you clarify?

  I bought ($13) my domain name that used to be at another hosting service I just canceled.

  I only know to ask about this because I also set up a brand new domain name that cost me $26 where part of that was to stop anyone from seeing my personal info.

  I have another question on the old domain name transfer. SHould I ask you in this thread?
