How do I put a picture next to Author?

The design on my wordpress allows me to put a picture up next to my authors names. Right now, it’s just a profile of a blank person. How do I put an image there????

That’s not the problem—See how next to my name there is that white guy?? How can I get a picture of me in there? I have uploaded a picture but it just shows the white guy. How can I get it to show me?

Ok, my picture is uploaded and is next to my name here, but it’s still not showing up on my wordpress blog page under “Authors”. There is still that blank “white” guy space.
