How do I redirect traffic between wordpress blogs. Please help!

How do I automatically redirect my readers from my old wordpress blog to my new one? I have already exported and imported all my files so I just need to redirect the site traffic from the old to the new. Is it possible to link it somehow so that if anyone goes goes to the old blog url the new blog loads?
My old blog is http://bamboopandalove.wordpress.com,

Well, the good news is you don’t have to do anything. The bad news is, that’s because this feature has temporarily been disabled by staff and we don’t yet know when it will be back.
I suggest you set the blog to have a static front page that says “this blog has moved, please click HERE to go to the new site” or words to that effect.
