How do I remove a "dead" blog from "My Sites" on my WordPress Account?
-
In the past I registered a old blog I ran (blog.spikedeffect.com) with my wordpress account and as such it is being listed under the “My Sites” tab.
However, that domain is now no longer under my control and the blog is no longer in existence, but I can’t seem to delete it from this list.
Is there any way to delete “blog.spikedeffect.com” (SpikedEffect’s blogorama) from the “My Sites” list?
Best wishes,

Hi there,
Instructions for doing that are found here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/disconnect-jetpack-sites/ -
@timethief thanks for that link, but I have already read that and tried that process multiple times, but the entry keeps re-appearing on the “My Sites” tab on refresh.
I’m guessing the process must be trying to pingback to the jetpack code for deactivation, but the domain / blog is no longer online.

Okay then I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

@timethief thanks, and no worries, more than happy to be patient, realised this was something wordpress staff would need to look into.
