    Hi there,

How do I take date/time down

One way you can make it look less like a blog, and remove the date/time without having to use any CSS, is to use only pages on your site. You can follow our guide to Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) if you want to replace the “Welcome!” post on your site with a static “Welcome!” page. That will make it look like the other pages on your site.

If you’d like to leave it as it is but just remove the date and time, I’d recommend looking at these CSS tips for the Twenty Ten theme:

    https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/remove-datetimeauthor

You can add that CSS code to your site’s Customizer, in the CSS section there. We also have more tips for getting started in our guides to Custom CSS and CSS Basics.

and also get rid of the “Powered by wordpress.com at the bottom?

The footer credit (including the theme name and WordPress.com credit) is required to be displayed according to our terms of service, so please do not remove it. Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer.

However, you can use custom CSS to style that footer credit so it fits in with your site’s design the way you’d like, as long as it’s visible and legible.

Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
