How do I remove footer ‘Blog op WordPress.com. Het Portfolio thema’ from my pages?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
The footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:
http://en.wordpress.com/tos/Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer.
(See the bottom of http://blog.ted.com/ for an example)Let me know if you have any additional questions about this.

Thanks,
But I’ve seen many examples of sites made in wordpress without the footer. I want to show my pictures as ‘natural’ as possible, without disturbing items like buttons or text. There must be a way…Groet, Martin

WordPress.com body { font-family: arial; font-size: 0.8em; } .post, .comment { background-color: white !important; line-height: 1.4em !important; } -
I suspect that you were looking at self-hosted WordPress sites using the software available from WordPress.org:
WordPress.com sites all have that footer info.

Can you post that message again? It did not make it into the post somehow. A screenshot could also be useful.
Here are some screenshot instructions if you are not familiar with the process:
I find http://snag.gy/ to be very useful for sharing screenshots. You can also upload the screenshot to your site’s media library. I will be able to see it there.

I set up my domain: defactophotography.nl. Should it be possible to remove the wordpress footer now? It should be possible; I know sites, made using wordpress, that don’t have it.

Any WordPress site that you have seen that does not have the footer info is a self hosted WordPress.org site, not a WordPress.com site. All WordPress.com sites have that footer info.
While similar, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are slightly different:
If, by some chance you have seen a WordPress.com site without the footer info, it is either a bug, or a site that is in violation of the WordPress.com Terms Of Service.
If removing the footer wording is crucial to your site plans, I suggest that you look into migrating to a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

And is it gonna cost me extra?
You will need to purchase a hosting plan from a webhost. Prices vary, but between $50-200/yr is a reasonable guess.
This guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance:

As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
If you’d like assistance moving your WordPress.com site to WordPress.org, we have a service called Guided Transfer that does all the work for you. Check it out to see if it’s right for you:

And changing the line ‘Blog op WordPress.com. Het Portfolio thema’ to ‘powered by WordPress’ like the Ted website?
-
The “Powered by WordPress VIP” line is only on sites that are part of the WordPress.com VIP program.
It really sounds like a self-hosted site would be a better fit for you.
