How do I remove Menu and the Menu Space?

I’m trying to keep my blog as simple as possible. Basically, I erased the Menu text (“Menu”), but the Menu spot is still there. I just simply want that empty white space (where the Menu is) to be removed so it goes straight from the header to my blog posts. How do I do that?

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, hosted with GoDaddy, which we really can’t help with here.
