How do I remove the wordpress and theme footer credit?

    Hi, how do I remove the WordPress and theme footer credit?

    Hi Kristin,

    The footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service. Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer.

    If you’d like to change how that footer looks, for example to move it around on the page or change the font colors, you’re welcome to do that as long as the credit is still legible. You can make changes like that using Custom CSS, part of your WordPress.com Premium trial upgrade.

    If you’d like to see how other people customize their sites with CSS we have a CSS Customization forum. It can be a great place to get ideas and help from others (including some volunteers with extensive CSS experience).
