How do I revert to WordPress.org
-
I had a wonderful site constructed in WordPress.org with my own domain, plugins etc. Then I took up an invite from WordPress.com hosting but quickly found that the affordable plans do not support plugins, so I canceled the contract and d received a full refund (thank you). The trouble is, although I have changed the DNS name servers with Bluehost, trying to reach my original site returns ‘Error establishing a database connection.’ Any suggestions welcomed: the website is philipcatshill.com

Hi,
Nameserver changes can take 24-72 hours to fully go through across the internet. So I would expect that issue to sort itself shortly, if it hasn’t already.
Assuming you did not delete or cancel your hosting with Bluehost, your existing data should reappear shortly when viewing your domain. If no, you will need to talk to Bluehost’s support team as that isn’t something we at WordPress.com can assist with.
Thanks for giving us a try!

Thanks … I have now taken out web-hosting with Bluetooth so I will get them to sort it out.
