How do I save an edit?!
-
I know I must sound like a total idiot, but I can’t figure out how to save the edit I made in the ‘About Me’ page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
If you’re editing at a My Sites page editor, click the big blue “Update” button near the top of the left sidebar.
If you’re editing in a wp-admin page editor, the “Update” button will appear in the publish module, likely found at the right of the editor window.

I’m on My Sites and there is no button that says “update” anywhere. I would have tried that. This is so FRUSTRATING!

I believe you, but providing a screen shot might help. I’ll tag the topic for staff attention.

Also, my “about” page keeps disappearing for no apparent reason. It’s still there. Just hiding. But I keep having to unhide it, constantly.

So, I can’t figure out how to upload a screen shot here. There doesn’t seem to be an option for it.

Your “about” page is publicly displayed. Here it is: https://anonymousmidwyfs.wordpress.com/about/. I don’t know what you mean by hidden. Its absence from the menu indicates that you’ve created and activated a custom menu, yet haven’t added a link to the “about” page to the menu.

See the “Sharing your screenshot” section of the Making a Screenshot support page. You may also use a screenshot sharing service such as Snaggy (https://snag.gy/).

I figured it out. Apparently the “save” button is no longer called “update.” At least, on my site its called “schedule.” When I press that, I get something that says “your website has been updated.”
Yes. The “about” page is missing from the menu and I keep having to fix that and it keeps disappearing. Any idea what I need to do that I’m not doing? Thanks for all your help.
