  how do I save what I’ve changed in the edit post site title?

  You want to change the generic “Site Title”? If you’ve clicked on “My Sites”, scrolled down on the left to the “Customize” button and then “Site Identity” then when you’ve changed the wording you need to click the “Publish” button at the top to save.
