How do I see my blog publicly after letting the domain name un-register?

I had paid for a domain name I think it’s called. I apologize for being illiterate. But I didn’t renew it. And I guess I though it would revert back to ptsdonnie.wordpress.org from ptsdonnie.com
But I can only seamy posts on my dashboard. And it’s suicide awareness month and I wanted to share my suicide story with friends and I don’t know how.
Can you please give me some guidance. Thank you sir or ma’am.
