How do I send a newsletter from my wordpress account?

    I am hoping to use wordpress to create and send a newsletter. What upgrades do i need? What should I read to get me started? I do not host my own wordpress sites. I use wordpress.com

    Hi there, you can set up a newsletter using a third-party, hosted email marketing service. While it won’t be possible to embed a signup form directly on your WordPress.com site, you can add a simple link to the hosted signup form provided by the email marketing service.

    You won’t need any upgrades on the WordPress.com end, but you’ll need to sign up for an account with an email marketing service.
