How do I setup the blog on my custom domain instead of the subdomain w/o mapping

I want to build my blog on the domain I purchased from wordpress, not on the free subdomain. Prior to setting one of my domains as primary, all I was seeing is the TW parking page. Can you please tell me how I can transfer my blog to the durandesign.me domain instead of the durandesigndotme.wordpress.com domain.
If I need to build a second blog on that domain, that’s fine since I havent started it yet. However, when I try to create another blog it simply gives me the option to create another free subdomain or to buy a new one. I already have a domain I purchased with my premium plan and would like to use that for the blog. Any help would be appreciated.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please note that the domain: durandesigndotme.wordpress.com never deletes, which is actually a good thing so if you one day decide not to renew the domain or it expires accidentally all your content will still be available at durandesigndotme.wordpress.com.
However, as long as you keep your domain renewed, your readers will see your site at durandesign.me. Even if they go to durandesigndotme.wordpress.com they will be automatically redirected to durandesign.me.

Thank you for your response.Honestly, I don’t plan on letting durandesign.me expire. And my main point is that I would like people who are on my site to see the domain as durandesign.me and not as durandesigndotme.wordpress.com.
Can I switch the site over to that domain so that I could set that one as my primary?

I have set durandesign.me as the primary domain, so even if your readers go to durandesigndotme.wordpress.com they will be automatically redirected to durandesign.me as seen here:
