How do I show a string of book titles w/some copy written about each one?

I’m so confused with widgets, categories, posts,etc. I just want to make a list of book titles on the right hand side that people can click on to read reviews and info.
Help! I’ve read everything and I’m still cross eyed.

1) write a post for each book review
2) use the category Book Reviews on each of those posts
3) use the Category widget so people can just click on that to see all the book reviews
4) in a text widget, put the titles one by one and all the direct links to your posts. You’ll have to update that manually every time you have a review
5) instead, you might want to use a Custom Menu widget and put the category Book Reviews into it; then it will display all of them automatically.
