How do I stop uploading data for hours when I try to publish?

When I try to publish WordPress starts to upload data and it takes hours to do this. It all started when WordPress sakes for access to my camera. Now it takes hours to publish an update with a picture or two. Why? Worked great before. Burning data time.

Is this regarding the WordPress.com app? If so, what platform are you using? Do you have the most recent update? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

If I delete app and reload, will I lose what I have done? Must I go to WordPress web site to reload?

You could visit your site on a computer to make sure that all of your drafts are in place. Your published content will not be changed at all.
