how do I Transter my domain TO WordPress from siteground

  I am using siteground for my web hosting and have bought my domain through them. I would like to shutdown my site with them and start a new one with wordpess. I am concerned that I may lose my domain in the process. How do a transfer and ensure that I keep this same domain?

  WP.com does not currently accept incoming transfers, but you can keep the domain management over there adn simply map your domain to your WordPress.com blog using the Mapping upgrade on the Store page of your dashboard.
