How do I turn off 3d Light option when editing Font?

  I’m having a lot of issues with turning off the 3D Light feature when editing fonts. Here is a screen shot. Can anyone advise me on how to handle this?

  I need the answer for this and appreciate any help. Also if someone can provide a newbie a link to properly use the font color change would be nice. kindawarped.com
