How do I unlink my WordPress.com account from my WordPress.org account?
-
I manage both my own personal blog on WordPress.com – under a unique username, e-mail, and password – and also my business’s blog on our own site under WordPress.org – under a different username, e-mail, and password. When I logged in today, I found that my .Com account has access to the .Org account and is set up as a User there – although the account name does not show under “Users” when I look at the dashboard on the .Org account. How can I sever the ties between these two accounts, without losing data from either?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It looks like you have a self hosted WordPress site connected via Jetpack. A Jetpack connection requires a WordPress.com login to work. So you would need to disconnect from your account and reconnect to another WordPress.com account.

And in reality, your .com account is not set up as a user and wouldn’t have access to the self-hosted site unless you had set it up as a user. And as it isn’t showing on the “users” list at the self-hosted dashboard, it doesn’t look like you did that.
The Jetpack connection is the culprit.
