How do I upload a custom theme?

After purchasing my domain through wordpress, I learned that you are not able to upload a custom theme unless it is hosted. I just went through godaddy to host my wordpress blog, but I am still unablet to figure out how to install a custom theme.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You would upload a theme through the dashboard of your self hosted site.
