How do I upload a m4v video from a MAC to my site?

  I can not upload a short video from a MAC in m4v format.

  I am confused because it says that WordPress supports a w4v file and yet it will not upload. The file is small (under one minute). I’m not sure why it says it supports these files and yet won’t work.

  You need a VideoPress upgrade to upload videos on WordPress.com. You are probably referring to a self-hosted WordPress.org installation.

  In your case it might be easier to upload the video to Youtube and embed it onto your blog.

  To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
