How do I upload a new theme?

I am following a tutorial through Minimalist Baker for setting up a blog. I was instructed to buy a theme from Genesis and i chose Brunch Pro. However, when I go to install it I can’t find the ‘add new’ button.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The Minimalist Baker site is only referring to self-hosted sites using WordPress.org. You’ll need to read more carefully where they talk about buying “hosting” for a WordPress.org site.
Here at WordPress.com you can’t install any external themes. Rather you choose to activate one of the free or Premium themes found here:-
