How do I upload a plugin?

    Please tell me I don’t need a paid account to upload a plugin? I’m looking to create a calculator and I want to test if its feasible to create this before buying the whole thing and going all out in creating a full blown website with hosting and the domain and investing my time to create the account. (I’ve checked the calculator I want doesn’t exist yet). I want to use a plugin but it says there was an error and now i’m here. If I need a premium account or business account. Is there anyway to get a 30 day trial?

    You cannot upload a plugin on the Free Plan. To do so, you must upgrade to the Business Plan.
    For plans and all other purchases, you must cancel within 30 days of purchase to receive a refund, https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/
