How do I upload html verification file to my site?

  I am using google’s webmaster tools and it had me download an html verification file. It said to upload it to my site and then verify it. I have downloaded the file so now how do I upload it to my site?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com doesn’t support the html verification method. Instead, you can use an HTML or meta tag to verify your site. We have a guide for that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#google-webmaster-tools
