How do import settings?

    After importing my wordpress.com blog to my new wordpress.com blog, I am missing my logo, and ALL settings, including widgets etc.. How can I keep those settings? Do I have to reconfigure the entire blog again, setting by setting? Is there a way I can just switch URLS to my new blog instead of having to export import? Please don’t reply with links to FAQ as I have already read it in it’s entirety and there is no information about the specific problem I’m having.

    You can’t. You can export and import only content. The settings, the theme and content of text widgets cannot be exported.

    Yes that’s exactly what you do. To move text widget content you copy and paste.

    I have no desire to retype what’s found in support documentation already. The information required is at the links I posted above.
