How do non-wordpress users follow my blog?

Some of my family and friends want to follow my blog without starting their own, how can I set up some sort of mailing list?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The easiest way might be to make sure you have “Show follow button to logged out users.” checked in your Dashboard under Settings–> Reading.
You could also set up a follow widget:
