How do We Move WP Subscribers to a Self-Hosted Installation
-
Hello – we have 689 subscribers to our blog, http://mindinthebutter.com/ – we are moving this to a self-hosted WP installation. Is there any way to move the e-mail subscribers to our self-hosted installation? We have already done the export/import successfully.
What is required to manage the subscribers on our end? Do we need a plugin?
Thanks!

I can help you with that. You will need to get jetpack installed and connected on your new site first:

Thanks – we’ve installed jetpack on mindinthebutter.com and linked it to our WordPress.com account…what do we do next?
Thanks!

The subscribers have been moved as requested. This is what we transferred:
WP.com Subscribers: 66
EMail Subscribers: 23The amount of followers mentioned in your Follow Blog Widget includes followers from Facebook and Twitter, which means these are attached to those profiles and not part of WordPress.com.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
