How do you add social media icons to the Profile theme?

  My blog is currently on the Profile theme. I’d like to add social media icons to my homepage so followers can click on the icons and be directed to the particular page. What is the best way to do this? Should I add code to CSS? If so, can you provide the code? Are there any other ways? Thanks.
