How do you DELETE a password from a post?

  I accidentally added a password to a post through some pop up screen on my new computer and now I can’t get the darned thing turned off. I’ve made sure the post is set to “published” and have deleted the password, then hit “save”…and the password re-appears. How do you turn it off????

  Oh, and by the way, it now wants to password protect ALL my posts. How do I shut that off??? Many thanks for your help!

  Can you give us a link to the blog in question? WordPress.com blogs never have popup windows.

  On any post, when you go to Edit, there’s a column of options to the right of the post on the Edit page. One of these is Password, and you can change/delete it there.
