How do you get a post to stick to your category’s on your website

When I write a new post and I assign it to a category, then I go to my main website, they are not under that category I assigned them to. They stay under the default category. example: my default category is ‘all blogs’ and I wrote a post on ‘Best Way To Get Rid Of Acne’ and tried to place it under the category ‘beauty’. I go to my website, click on ‘beauty’ but there is nothing there. What am I doing wrong?

  • Hi there!

Are you talking about facebafantasy.com? If so, I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
    https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.

You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.

http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
