how do you get rid of author statistics
-
I can’t figure out which stats include my own visits. For instance, for the current month my stats show that I have visited the site 37 times (which I haven’t. I have mainly edited the site).
If I can’t figure out which stats are my own and which are other people’s, what’s the use of stats? Does the individual breakdown of pages and their stats include author stats, for instance?
How do you get rid of my own stats? Period.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@ellewyc , we exclude your own logged-in visits on public sites. So if you are logged in as any of these roles:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/we won’t count your visit to your public sites.
If the site is private, we do count the visits.

Not sure what is meant by “private sites”. I click into this link:
https://wordpress.com/stats/insights/gardenhelpblog.wordpress.com and go from there to edit and view.
Would this count as a private site?
