How do you stop autosave on a blog?

    We are having major problems with wordpress taking up so much of our internet space. It is costing us mega bucks. The only thing we can think of is that the autosave is adding to our problems. How do you stop it from saving every few minutes?

    Hi there,

    For sites hosted at WordPress.com, you don’t need to worry about the space taken up by autosaved posts. We take care of that for you. :) The only cost for space with a WordPress.com blog is if you want a Space Upgrade to upload even more images and files to your blog. Otherwise, the space used by your WordPress.com site is free!

    If you have a self-hosted WordPress.org site, you may have to pay for the space your web host provides. Just to clarify, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are different entities: WordPress.com and WordPress.org
