How does advertising work here?

    Hello people at wordpress,

    I am completely confused by the advertising here. If I wanted to gain something from my blog, how should i proceed? On the rules it is said that you cant put adsense and the likes on your blog, but there are a lot of plugins available that do just that. How is it?
    And a question about WordAds too. Is the progam available for all blogs or do i need to meet certain requirements to be eligible for it? It would be very frustrating to upgrade to Domain Mapping and then being refused.

    Blogger-initiated advertising is banned here.

    You have to be approved for WordAds, and it’s only open to sites with a custom domain. THere is no guarantee you’ll be approved if you apply.
