How does the NEW POST EDITING PAGE work?

    Hello and sorry to bother you at this time, but I’ve been trying to edit a post all day and I can’t figure out the new editing page layout. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for change and I have appreciated all of the updates you’ve done so far but now I can’t see the images I am adding until I click the preview page, I can’t insert files from my old media library, when creating a media gallery my photos appear as thumbnails and I can’t separate them in paragraphs.

    I hope this is a temporary problem and you are working on it, or, if you already have a guide to the new way of editing photos in posts, please please please link me to it, I searched all day and I only got to the old guides.

    I’d really hate to give up on this blog since I just paid for it a week ago…

    Thanks for your feedback! Our team is working on some updates and changes to the new post page here: https://wordpress.com/post/

    Currently, you can add images to your posts by dragging & dropping them in the space below the post editor to create a gallery. Our team is actively working on updates to that feature to give more options for managing images in your posts, so you’ll see those updates as our team launches them.

    If you prefer to add a single image at a time, add images from your media library, or make other edits to how images appear in your posts, you can still do that using the post editor under Posts > All Posts (or add new posts under Posts > Add New) in your blog’s dashboard. (You can get to that dashboard with the “Dashboard” link on your My Blogs page.)

    Thank you for replying so quick Rachel, I’ll share this thread with all my other friends who have been experiencing the same issue so they will be reassured as well.
