    How long before the domain name is released and I can host it on another site?

    Hi there!

    It looks like the domain was registered and canceled within a day. It can take up to a week for the domain to be released into the market. Note that when the domain is available again, it becomes available for everyone, so there’s no guarantee that you will be the first to register it.

    The safest choice is restoring the domain with us. We have a short window to restore the domain for you. You can either pay just the domain registration fee to restore the domain or upgrade to a yearly WordPress.com plan again to have us restore the domain for you.
