How long for a refunded domain to become released?

  I bought a domain from wordpress.com just an hour or so ago and then immediately changed my mind and wanted to have it hosted elsewhere. So I cancelled it for a refund.

  Would you be able to check on a specific domain from your end? Can’t paste the name here just to make sure no one tries to take it.

  Hi there,

  That domain will be released in about a week and it will become available for registration again. So, you can try re-registering every couple of days.

  Also, since you canceled it we have no control over it and therefore we cannot reserve it for you.
