How long is this free?

    I’ve just found out a lot more about WordPress.com and I’m thinking about starting a website, but I’m not an individual with a job, so I chose the ‘start with a free site’ option. My question is, since it says ‘start’ with a free site, for how long will this be free? Do i have to pay eventually, even if I decide to take down my website?

    Hi there,

    Your site is free and will remain free for as long as you like. We do offer upgrades that you can consider, and they do add some nice features to your site, but if you are happy with the free site there is no need to upgrade to those. :)
