    This is a peer support forum where Staff and Volunteers work together cooperatively to provide WordPress.com support. Emailing support means it takes longer to get an answer than posting to the support forums does.

    Crazy – am trying to find out if I even committed to anything with you yet, as have been away. How would the “community” know? If the site is this user unfriendly, maybe you’re not right for me. i’m 80 years old & trying to promote some French classes. I’ve never even SEEN a blog. So if I can’t even get a personal response to anything, I can just go elsewhere. I sure hope I haven’t signed up to pay for anything .

    It would be nice if someone actually from wordpress would have the courtesy to contact me back (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    I just checked your account and I can assure you that you have not subscribed to anything that would cost you money. You can check this out by viewing all of your active paid subscriptions through your dashboard at Store > My Upgrades:

    Really appreciate the responses. Actually I did pay for a domain and I forget how I found a phone number and actually got a callback from a very helpful guy. After which we got cut off and I had to leave the house (tho he called me back, so really terrific.) Simultaneously having serious problems with my keyboard, so won’t be able to finish my site til that is solved. I do find the whole website system very counter intuitive though.

    Thanks for that additional info!

    It is possible that your received a call from one of the Happiness Engineers on the Store team about a domain. We do follow up calls with users when their domains are about to expire, however there isn’t a domain associated with the current account you’re using.

    If you let me know the domain, I can check if that domain was registered through us or another domain registrar. :)
