how to access wordpress database from a page

  hello I would like to know if there is a way to connect to the wordpress DB from an article. for example if i wanted to display a bullet list of all the data in a table.

  Hi there,

  I’m sure this should be possible, though you’d probably need a plugin to do that. The best place to ask about this is over in the forums for the open source WordPress software, though:

  The forum you’re posting in now is for free sites hosted on WordPress.com. WordPress.com is a hosting provider, and not the same thing as the open source WordPress software.
