  Would someone be able to advise a plugin that will help with this inline content effect, where there is a submenu linking to inline pages?

  you don’t need a plugin to do; it’s very easy to create page jumps, https://wordpress.com/support/splitting-content/page-jumps/

  thank you staartmees, just a quick question, in the example the submenu links to different pages, not to anchor points on the same page? But the link content is inline, if that makes sense?
