How to activate zone file
-
My domain host can’t change my domain name server. A criteria to change nameservers for .NO domain is that there needs to be active zonefiles on them. My host tried to change now and got a message stating that there were no zonefile resolving for the domain on the WordPress servers.
How can I activate the zonefile on the WordPress server?

Hi there,
The only way to map your domain to your WordPress blog is by changing the domain name servers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMSo, your domain host will need to change the name servers for this to work. However, you can add a DNS zone record following the steps here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/dns-zone-records/
Please let me know if you have any additional questions!
Best,

Hi and thank you for your answer. I tried to do as you said but when I try to add DNS Zone, this is the message I get:
“You did not specify a valid domain name.”

I’ve been able to add the DNS zone to your domain as shown by the screenshot here:
Can you try to change your name servers again?
